Iran World’s 3rd Largest Journalist Prison

Emadoldin Baghi, journalist and emblematic figure in the defence of human rights in Iran, began serving a six-year prison sentence on 5 December. Before turning himself in at Evin prison he said in an interview: In fact neither I nor my lawyers know whether the sentences have been upheld, by what court and in front of which judge! All that happened is that I received a phone call telling me to give myself up at the prison! … All this bears no relation to law and justice”.

Smashwords, Why I Use it, What it is

I use Smashwords to distribute my books digitally. Why? Because it’s quite easy to do and they help me do digital distribution to a wide range of platforms including Apple, Barnes & Noble, Sony, Kobo, Diesel and even Amazon (though I do have an Amazon account of course, doesn’t everyone?).

I am getting ready to publish The Journey of Why (Myranda’s Story), later this month or in early January (I am doing editing now) and for those that prefer digital copies of books, Smashwords will be the place to get it. Of course, you will be also able to pick it up in those other ebook stores thanks to their services as well.
