Early on in the story idea phase (which lasted all of 20 minute I think), I had an idea to structure the book sort of like Dante’s Inferno, but in reverse. I had some crazy ideas about the world in which Myranda lives and the story takes place and that got me to start thinking about a lot of parallels and themes running through the book and the story.

You know the old adage that in order to be successful you need the right location? Well ok, not sure if it’s the exact wording but you get the general idea.
This time round it’s actually a two-fold thing. Both in the writing and outside of it.
I’ve got this knack of being able to write anywhere, literally. I think I already mentioned that I write in the toilet sometimes.

Today I celebrate four years here in the Czech Republic. So I thought it was a time to look to the past and see how it all began so to speak. How had I ended up where I am right now?
Somewhere back in the mists of history, about 4 years and 10 months ago (give or take a couple weeks) I decided that I needed a change. I knew it had to be a major change because I was just burnt out. I hatedmy job, life wasn’t all that exciting. In general, I was completely dissatisfied with most things in my life.
